Wines of the Languedoc

We are delighted to present a list of our selected wines from the Languedoc region and we can also offer wines from other neighbouring regions of France. These wines will certainly present you with a taste of the delights of what you will experience with us on a WineHunters tour, when you will visit the vineyards and meet the producers.

Without a doubt, the unique qualities of wine make it inimitable, yet its magic touch goes unfelt if you cannot sense the underlying personality of the people who have made it, stamping the wine with their craftsmen skills to achieve a true ‘art de vivre’. Industrialised wine production thwarts the human dimension in wine, reducing it to a run of the mill product seen by the consumer as all too unpredictable and out of date. So a welcome here to all who love wine, to those curious about the good things in life and eager for discovery, and wish to keep a memory of their experience alive’ - Alain Quenehen – creator of cuvee Ange.

Les Rocailles Rouge 2004 AOC Coteaux du Languedoc Grenache, Syrah and Carignan - Dark ruby red, with intense aromas of pepper and cloves, with flavours of red stone fruits and mixed spices. TBA
Cuvee Maelma 2001 AOC Coteaux du Languedoc Mouvedre, Carignan, Grenache Noir, Syrah – A magnificent wine with big flavours of spices, liquorice, and black fruits. TBA

Cuvee Tradition Blanc 2004 AOC Coteaux du Languedoc Rolle, Marsanne, Viognier and White Grenache. A very seductive wine with a yellow and lime green colour, showing true elegance. A rich bouquet of white flowers and vineyard peach giving a palate of citrus fruits, lychee and peach. TBA
Cuvee Clos des Benedictins Blanc 2004 AOC Coteaux du Languedoc Rolle, Marsanne and Viognier – A very special cuvee from La Roque with aromas of lemon, fresh grapes and dried apricots. Tasting of passion fruit and citrus with a lingering finish. TBA
Cuvee Cupa Numismae 2002 – AOC Coteaux du Languedoc Syrah and Mouverdre. A very big wine scoring 96 on the Parker Scale. A deep purple wine with a bouquet of red berries, vanilla, morello cherries and coconut. Well balanced with a long finish. TBA
